Braun make a wide range of epilators. These are designed to be used once and leave you hair free for weeks. They do these in various ranges which are numbered 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
Braun are part of the Proctor & Gamble brands group that also include Gillette and Oral-B. They do have a UK based customer service which is good.
Braun Silk Epilator Model Range
Braun make epilators and advertise them by model number. However each model sits within a specific range. These ranges include:
- Braun Silk Epil 9 - there are 9 products in this range and these are the latest range of products with average prices of between £80-£130
- Braun Silk Epil 7 - there are 10 products in total in this range and they are still popular choices and average prices between £75-£90
- Braun Silk Epil 5 - there are 9 products in total in this range and they are still popular choices and average prices between £20-£75
- Braun Silk Epil 3 - Only 1 product still selling in this range

They appear to like using odd numbers for each range. The important thing to note here is that the higher the Series number, the more recent the products will be. They are also the more advanced products using the latest technologies.
While that is good, the downside is that the "Epil 9 range," will also be more expensive than the older ranges.
